What started off as a social experiment in the hustle and bustle of New York City — a community of creatives, entrepreneurs, and explorers came together to build a small movement. From 2015 to 2016, we developed a series of creative and wellness workshops that helped refuel and educate each other. Now, we are reactivating this educational platform as a response to the COVID-19 disaster to help support the creative professional, freelancer, and small business community.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19 has managed to disrupt the orthodox – leading to massive government shutdowns of businesses and unemployment increasing into the millions. The issue has uprooted world economies and disrupted the ability, of many individuals, to sustain their livelihoods through traditional means of work. With limited movement, people are forced to create new streams of income through a virtual world – a world that many are unfamiliar with or lacked the technical knowledge to compete in. However, this upending of the norm provides a great opportunity for those who are eager to capitalize on the changing climate, and Make Waves.
